Back in March, I decided to pull a Beyonce and do the 22 Days Vegan Challenge. The 22 Days Vegan Challenge is a food challenge that requires you to eliminate all animal based products from your diet for only twenty- two days. “Studies have showed that if you do something continuously for twenty-one days, it becomes a habit; twenty-two days enforces the habit” (via. 22 Days Nutrition). I can proudly say that I was able to complete the vegan challenge and gain some benefits along the way.
One of my favorite vegan items would be the 22 Days Nutrition Organic Protein Bars. My favorite bar would have to be the PB + Chocolate Chip Nirvana; this bar has 20 grams of protein, is plant based, soy free, non- GMO and gluten free. I brought the PB + Chocolate Chip Nirvana and the Pineapple Chocolate Chip Wonder bars with me on my study abroad program and those bars were my go to “comfort” snack.
22 Days Nutrition, the company that started the 22 Days Vegan Challenge, recently released four new protein bars: Almond Butter Chocolate Chip, Walnut Fudge Brownie, Coconut Chocolate Chip and Quinoa Chocolate Crisp. I have already tried all four of them and I absolutely love them! My favorite is the Walnut Fudge Brownie.
