Thank you, Oscar de la Renta.

When red carpet award season comes, the media always asked celebrities, “Who are you wearing?” They’ll say a famous brand name, but the name I hear the most is Oscar de la Renta. Oscar de la Renta is known as the “King of Evening”. Amy Adams, Sarah Jessica Parker, Fredia Pinto, Lupita Nyong’o, Jennifer Lawrence, Karlie Kloss, Kerry Washington and Amul Alamuddin (aka Mrs. George Clooney) are just a few names that have wowed in the famous designer.

The fashion industry lost their most precious artist. Women around the world lost their number one supporter. I just lost my dream wedding dress designer. My favorite quote of his is well-known; “walk like you have three men walking behind you.” Not only did he enhance women’s beauty in his one of a kind designs, but he thrived to make women powerful and confident.

Oscar de la Renta knew how to make women look unique and elegant; he knew what would push fashion boundaries and still make the best dress list. He is a creator, he is a designer, he is a legend… He is the King of Evening. Thank you Mr. Oscar de la Renta for everything you have done.
