2014 NYE Lookbook.

Hello Everyone!

New Year’s Eve is tomorrow and I can’t believe 2014 is almost over! Ladies, do you have your New Year’s Eve outfit ready? If not, I have some ideas on what you can wear to ring in the new year.

Tuxedo Dress
While shopping online, I came across a white tuxedo dress and fell absolutely in love. It reminded me of Miley Cyrus’s Billboard Awards outfit. This type of dress looks awesome with a chunky chain necklace and bold lips. Be warned, this dress is low cut, so keep an eye out for your girls.
   

If you want to recreate this look, wear a Men’s tuxedo jacket. Make sure the jacket is long enough to look like a dress though.

Sparkle Skirt

Wearing sparkles on NYE is like Lady Gaga wearing a seashell bra; it’s completely normal. If you are not a fan of wearing sparkles, like me, this can be a challenge. A great option is to wear one sparkly piece of clothing and pair the rest with something simple.

      

I paired my sparkly skirt with a silk top and a leather jacket. I wanted to wear statement heels but not overpower the skirt so I paired this look with nude sandal heels.

Marsala
Studies have showed the hottest color for 2015 is Marsala. Why not ring in the new year with the hottest upcoming color? Since this is a fashion last minute outfit post, I decided to find something in my closet with the Marsala shade. Luckily for me, I found a jumpsuit.

    

I wanted to keep my jumpsuit simple so I paired this outfit with nude heels and a small statement bronze necklace.

Little Black Dress
The one fashion lesson I live by is, “when in doubt, wear black”. I think every woman should have at least one black dress in her closet. A little black dress is a timeless staple piece that you can dress up or down.

    

I have tons of black dresses but this one is my favorite. I love how this dress accentuates my waist and shows a bit of skin. Any accessory would look perfect with this dress.
