If you’re my usual readers, you guys know that I went vegan thanks to 22 Days Nutrition. I love their products, especially their Pineapple Chocolate Chip Wonder Bar. Recently, 22 Days Nutrition started a delivery meal service that is 100% plant based. The company decided to send me a gift and surprised me with five meals! I thought today’s post would be a review on the meals they sent me.
Pasta Della Nonna
This was the first meal I tried and it was probably my favorite. If you’re a pasta fan, you’re going to love this. This meal also taste like there’s cheese in it but it’s nutritional yeast!
Acpulco Fiesta Kidney Bowl
The Acpulco Fiesta Kidney Bowl reminded me of a healthier version of a chili bowl. It did have a bit of a spicy kick to it, but I enjoyed it. I couldn’t finish it in one sitting so I ate the leftovers for lunch. I would say though, this would be perfect to add a side of rice or chips.
Late Winter White Bean and Quinoa Bowl
When I did the vegan challenge, quinoa was my boyfriend. I love eating quinoa but I hate cooking it because it’s so messy. The great thing about this meal, the quinoa is already cooked and you just have to microwave it. I wish I had an avocado to dice some in.
Shiitake Mushroom Spiral Pasta
Out of the 5 meals, this was my least favorite. Don’t get me wrong, the Shiitake Mushroom Spiral Pasta filled me up and kept me full. I just didn’t care for it as much as the other meals. I think it’s because I recently noticed zucchini has aftertaste I’m not fond of. Which is odd because I use to love zucchini. If you are a huge zucchini and mushroom fan, I think you would like this.
Singapore- Style Ginger Rice
My parents use to always make fried rice when I was growing up. This meal reminded me of fried rice. It reminds me of an asian plate with white cabbage. I’ve been craving cabbage lately so this meal was perfect.
Thank you Marco Borges, Yenney Curbelo and the staff of 22 Days Nutrition for sending me this amazing gift. I was completely surprised by this generous gift; you guys spoil me. If you would like to try these meals yourself, check out www.22daysnutrition.com.
P.S. I would also like to point out this is not a paid advertisement; I truly enjoy this company and I want to share my favorite things so my readers can try these products too 🙂
