Hi Everyone!
If I was to sum up this semester in one word, it would be busy. Since my birthday is during spring break, I decided this would be the perfect opportunity to go visit my best friend, Cara, in LA! I know some people have already had their spring break, but for those who haven’t here are some things I am bringing on my trip.
Swim Suit
I feel like the ultimate statement piece for spring break is a swim suit. I’m going to be near the beach so I’m bringing my nude BCBG bikini. I’ve had this bikini for awhile but there some different style on BCBG’s site.
Sunglasses
The second spring break statement piece is sunglasses. Ladies and gentlemen, if you’re going to be outside in the sunlight, WEAR SUNGLASSES!!! Protect your vision please. I am bringing my round Ray-Ban sunglasses.
Weekender Bag
I noticed when I travel I bring way too many cosmetic bags. The crazy thing is, I don’t have tons of makeup; I need bags for my personal care like hair, teeth, brushes etc. I decided instead of having multiple of bags I would get one big bag.
I found this Sonia Kashuk Palm Print Weekender Bag at Target. Not only is this bag is bigger, have multiple pockets, and a makeup brush compartment but this print is gorgeous. My latest obsession has been a palm prints and this bag was calling for me.
Hat
If you are an avid reader of my blog, you will know I love hats. I know I’ve blogged about my Free People hat in the past but it can be paired with any outfit.
Sunscreen
I think it is very important that everyone wears sunscreen, especially if you are going to be exposed to the sun. I decided to get the travel sized Banana Boat sunscreen because once I’m done, I can just toss it. This is also the perfect size for my weekender
Lip Balm
I don’t know why, but every time I go to Los Angeles I always get chapped lips. No matter how much water I drink, it will be chapped. I like to bring my EOS lip balm with me when I travel. My favorite flavor, at the moment, is vanilla mint.
