May Favorites.

I just realized we’re in June.. HOW DID THAT HAPPENED?!?!?!?! Well I guess it’s time for a May Favorites!

Me Before You

When I got called into jury duty, I decided to bring a book with me. Like an actual physical book (yes they still make those). I saw that Me Before You was a pretty popular and I wanted to see what all the fuss is about. You guys, I couldn’t put it down. I finished that book in a day and it made me cry like a little baby!!! I ugly cried like Kim Kardashian. I don’t want to give away any spoilers but I will say, Lou is such an amazing character and has this amazing determination to help Will. If you need a summer book, this is the one to check out!

Giorgio Armani foundation

I saw on Khloe Kardashian‘s Snapchat that she’s using Giorgio Armani‘s liquid foundation. I’ve been looking into a new foundation; if I can look as fabulous as her (and it’s somewhat affordable) then I’m going to try it. Well turns out, it’s a challenge to find if you don’t live in a bigger city. I technically could buy it online but I had no idea what number I am. I got color matched at Nordstrom in LA; can I just say I am obsessed with this foundation! This foundation makes my skin look like silk!! Which makes sense since the name is called luminous silk.

Thank You Cards

Nordstrom had their Half Yearly Sale so of course I had to check it out. I found these adorable Thank You Cards. I feel that thank you cards are something that people don’t do anymore; a hand written letter is so much more personal than a text. Plus I just graduated and it’s time to write some thank you cards for the lovely grad gifts I’ve received.

Gatorade

I got food poisoning… again and combine that with Fresno’s heat, it’s not good. I got so sick that my parents had to pick me up from my house to take me to the doctors. I’ve been drinking Gatorade for the past 4 days and it’s the one thing that’s making me feel better.

Jeffrey Campbell Heels

Did I mention that I live in Fresno and it gets really hot here, like you’re walking in an oven? Well I do and it’s hot. Also, I got a full time job (Yay!!!) I’m in this weird situation that I want to wear heels for work but I need them to be comfortable and look summery while being comfortable. Say that 5 times fast. I went to the LF Stores and their lovely stylist picked these Jeffrey Campbell heels. They’re so comfortable and they don’t look like old people shoes!!! These shoes are perfect for the office and outdoors.

How to be Single

I’ve been into watching rentals, I think it’s because I’m too tired to leave my house. Plus it’s freaking hot outside. I finally watched How to be Single and it’s literally my life. People always make a huge deal about me being single but this movie teaches you to appreciate being single.  I love it and now I’m buying it.
