I love October for 3 reasons: 1) The weather is nice, 2) my leather jackets make an appearance and 3) Halloween is here! Halloween was always a fun time for me and my family. My dad used to go out of his way to make sure our house was spooktacular. Everyone in my neighborhood knew our house was the place to go to on October 31st. And my mom always made me and my brother Halloween theme desserts when there was a “harvest festival” party at school.
One of my absolute favorite things to do, in October, is watching Halloween theme movies! I’m not a fan of scary films; the only thing I can handle that’s “scary” is Pretty Little Liars, American Horror Story and Scream Queens. My favorite type of Halloween films are the ones that were made for kids but should be for adults. Basically if it’s from the 90s, made by Tim Burton or a Disney original film, I probably like it. Here’s my list of not so scary Halloween films:
Coraline
Hocus Pocus
Harry Potter
The Addams Family
The Corpse Bride
Beetlejuice
The Witches
The Nightmare before Christmas
